Canadian Long Drive Champion Tests Sim Shacks Impact Screen

Putting Our Impact Screens to the Ultimate Test with Canada’s Long Drive Champion

At Sim Shacks, we’re obsessed with quality. Every one of our luxury backyard golf simulator sheds is built using premium materials. From real wood-veneered acoustic panels to pro-grade hitting turf, lush artificial putting turf, and our signature three-layer impact screens. These are the same materials trusted by tour-level golfers and simulator professionals around the world.

We knew our impact screens could handle serious power, but we wanted to prove it. When we had the opportunity to collaborate with Canadian Long Drive Champion, Dan Broadbent, we couldn’t say no.

Dan stopped by to check out our Par 5 Model, which we have fully assembled and ready for demo. He launched drive after drive, clocking ball speeds between 180 mph and 200 mph, the kind of force that would shred lesser impact screen in minutes.

After hours of testing, we inspected the screen and were thrilled (but not surprised) to find it looking good-as-new , no tears, no marks, no visible wear. Dan was equally impressed, calling the system accurate and durable.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Whether you’re a serious player or just want to enjoy year-round golf at home, every Sim Shack is designed to perform, last, and look great in your backyard.
