Sim Shacks was born from a shared love of golf, craftsmanship, and the dream of playing the perfect round, right in your own backyard.
Founded by friends and golf enthusiasts Joey and Ryan, Sim Shacks builds luxury golf simulator sheds that blend exceptional design, top-tier golf technology, and rock-solid craftsmanship.
Ryan is a former CPGA golf pro with a sharp eye for detail and years of experience running a contracting company. He has worked in the private golf club industry and competed on PGA Tour Canada (formerly The Canadian Tour). His deep understanding of the game ensures that every Sim Shack is built with a golfer’s mindset—precise, immersive, and truly enjoyable to play in.
Joey brings his talents as a seasoned woodworker, 3D designer, and customer experience expert to every project. He makes sure every detail looks beautiful, functions perfectly, and that each customer feels confident and excited throughout the process.
The two met in 2017 and quickly bonded over their mutual love of golf and carpentry. Sim Shacks is the natural result of those two passions coming together—combining premium materials, expert craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for the game.
Joey and Ryan are dads, neighbors, and friends. (Fun fact: their eldest kids were born on the exact same day!) That kind of synchronicity carries over into every project they build.
